Weaving intergenerational resilience

This illustration (mixed-medium on paper) depicts three generations of women farmers, collectively holding a vine, symbolising the transfer of knowledge and resources from one generation to another.

A small sapling, near the oldest woman’s feet and planted by her, goes on to eventually grow into a tree for the youngest woman. This is meant to symbolise that the seeds sown today will eventually grow and evolve into something much bigger and resilient in the future – much like resistance movements for people’s rights.
